First Parish hosting Humanity Helping Sudan

Sunday services on Jan. 28 at 10 a.m. at First Parish UU Medfield will feature three special guests from the Humanity Helping Sudan (HHS) Project. Manyang Kher, founder of HHS, fled South Sudan at age three and remained in a refugee camp until able to enter the United States at 17. He holds a degree in Political Science from the University of Richmond and leads the Refugee Campus program as part of HHS. He will share his personal story and explain how Refugee Campus provides scholarships to educate selected refugees.

First Parish UU is at 26 North St., Medfield. The service is 10:00 a.m. and Manyang Kher leads a discussion group at 11:30 a.m. The public is invited to both events. There is no charge. A free will offering will be taken to support the group.
