On Saturday, March 26, First Parish Unitarian Universalist Church on North St. in Medfield will host its second, monthly Expresso Yourself Coffeehouse from 7-9 p.m. and invites local residents or students to join in the fun of performing poetry, stories, and music in an open mic setting.
The performances are all based on a singular theme. The theme for March is “Coming of Age, at any age.”
The event is a revival of a First Parish tradition and the first event in February drew more than 50 participants, according to organizers.
This month’s featured performer will be Cheryl Perrault, a writer, published poet, and spoken word artist. She is the host of Wake Up and Smell Poetry in Hopkinton. The press release read, “Cheryl uses spoken word to increase well being through mind, body and soul.”

Join in the fun and “expresso” yourself this month at First Parish.
