St. Dunstan’s VBS campers raise funds

St. Dunstan’s Episcopal Church in Dover held its 7th annual Vacation Bible School (VBS) from June 25-29. The theme this year was "Rolling River Rampage," and the kids learned that no matter what, God is always with them. The church was full of love and laughter with 50 campers, 25 teen counselors, and 20 adult volunteers.

Each year, the kids have collected coins for a charity. This year, to tie into the theme, the children got to choose from several projects that work to preserve and restore rivers. After learning about various options, the kids voted and selected on EcoPeace Middle East in support of its Jordan River project. They raised $438.90 for the project.

EcoPeace Middle East (www.ecopeaceme.org) is an NGO that brings together Jordanian, Israeli and Palestinian environmentalists to work together to restore resources in the region.
