Karen Silver will be running the Marathon for a fifth year as part of the Dana-Farber Marathon Challenge Team, which raises money for the Claudia Adams Barr Program in Innovative Basic Cancer Research at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute (DFCI). In the past four years, Silver has raised nearly $40K in cancer research funds for DFCI, and at the time of print, has nearly reached her $13K goal for this year.
