Sherborn Library launches summer reading

Starting July 1, readers can participate in the Sherborn Public Library's 2020 summer reading program. Participants are encouraged to sign up and use the Beanstack app. Using Beanstack, a reading log app, kids, teens, and adults can record their reading. Those who prefer using a paper log can contact the library at (508-653-0770).

Library staff is challenging their patrons to come together to read 10,000 hours this summer. For each person, that translates into approximately 20 hours for the entire summer. Each hour a participant reads brings them closer to earning one of the prizes offered by the library. In addition to completing 20 hours, readers can also earn prizes by writing five book reviews, or completing the nature badge or the writing badge. Once a prize is earned, staff will put it outside for curbside pickup.
