‘Snapper’ by the Talking Turtles, which won first prize.
As it has for 34 years now, the Annual Sand Sculpture Contest at Sherborn's Farm Pond delighted the community. The winners were announced as follows:
First prize - "Snapper" by the Talking Turtles
Second prize - "The Wonder Bus" by the Happy Hippies
Third prize - "Oliver the Octopus" by the Lifeguards
First prize for Kid Only Division - "Stomp Stomp Stomp" by Matt O’Connor
Most Imaginative - "Abstract Vision of the Future of Utopia on Mars"
Best Natural Disaster - "Pompeii" by the Guppies
‘The Wonder Bus’ by the Happy Hippies, which won second prize.
Scariest - "Shark Attack" by Shark Bite
Best Mammal - "Whale" by Michelangelo
Most Inspirational - "Permanent Vacation" by Helluva Team
