Enjoy a Taste of the Neponset Region, April 8

The Neponset River Regional Chamber will host its annual "Taste of the Region" on Wednesday, April 8, bringing together the area's top culinary talents for a single-night showcase of local food and drink.

The event, which runs from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at the Blue Hill Country Club in Canton, serves as the chamber’s premier community gathering. Organizers expect a sell-out crowd, with tickets limited to 200 attendees to maintain an intimate networking environment.

"Our gastronomic extravaganza promises to captivate the taste buds of our community and celebrate the rich culinary tapestry of our region," said Tom O’Rourke, president and CEO of the Neponset River Regional Chamber.

Local flavor on display

The 2026 lineup features a diverse mix of long-standing regional favorites and newer establishments from across Norwood, Canton, Dedham, Walpole, and Westwood. This year’s participants include:

  • Dining: One Bistro, Not Your Average Joe’s, Liberty & Main, The Capital Grille, Neroli Ristorante, Vico Ristorante Italiano, and Tessie’s Bar & Kitchen.
  • Specialty Eats: Honey Baked Ham, Dressed with Flavor, and Ice Cream Emergency.
  • Beverages: Trillium Brewing, Burke Distributing Corporation, and Bar ’Cino.

In addition to the food and drink stations, the evening will feature live music and a series of raffles. Proceeds from the event support the chamber’s ongoing mission to champion the Neponset River Region as a destination for business and residency, as well as local food pantries.

Networking and Community

While the food is the primary draw, the "Taste" has evolved into a significant networking hub for local professionals.

"It is an excellent opportunity for networking and creating new connections," O’Rourke said, noting that many local businesses use the event to treat employees and clients to an evening out.

Tickets are currently on sale through the chamber’s website. Due to the limited capacity and the event’s history of selling out, officials recommend early registration.
