The Dover Cub Scouts had an explosively good time on Saturday, June 4! It was a beautiful day for the Cub Scouts' annual Rocket Launching event. The boys were each given a kit ahead of time from which they each built their own distinctive rocket. The boys and their families then gathered in Springdale Field on Saturday to shoot the rockets; many rockets shot so high the boys couldn't even see how high up the air they went. Pizza and cookies were served to round out the launch. About 75 people enjoyed the event and look forward to a repeat next year!
