Bids are due at 1 p.m. on October 20 for the home on 46 Springdale Avenue, which is being sold by the town of Dover.
The property is surrounded on two sides by conservation land, which leads into the trail system - the house lot being offered abuts a public access off of Springdale Ave to the 23.62 acres of town owned land. During a May town meeting, the town decided to sell a portion of the property, which had been purchased by the Dover Land Conservation Trust in 2015.
The selectmen's office will provide an RFP, outlining the details of the property and the process of making an offer. Potential buyers are encouraged to do their own due diligence; the current owners, the town of Dover, are selling the property “as is.”
