St. Sebastian’s lax sends off its seniors

Annually one of the top boys high school lacrosse leagues in the country, 2020 was going to be one of the ISL's most competitive seasons in years.

St. Sebastian's entered the year looking to defend their league title following a dominant 15-0 campaign in 2019 that also saw an appearance at Geico National's in Washington DC.

Despite graduating a significant chunk of its offensive production from last year's ISL championship squad, Seb's was one of the favorites to capture the league title once again in 2020. Senior Jake Cusack returned to headline the attack corps while seniors Declan Maguire and Liam Ford were both back to anchor the midfield along with senior defensive mids Teddy Daniel and Kristian Rosario.

To honor its senior class, St. Sebastian's lacrosse posted a video to its Twitter account highlighting the group's accomplishments.

Also back for St. Sebastian's this season were Denver committed defensive pole Jimmy Freehill. The Arrows returned one of the top face-off specialists in the country in sophomore Jack Rideout as well as sophomore midfielder Aidan Maguire.

2020 had all the makings for an extremely special season for St. Sebastian's lacrosse. The COVID-19 pandemic robbed the Arrows of a chance to repeat in the ISL, but it did not rob these senior athletes of cementing their legacies as one of most accomplished classes to ever walk the halls of St. Sebastian's.
