Medfield dominates TVL postseason awards

The Tri-Valley League announced its postseason awards for all Fall I varsity athletics this past week.

Following an unbeaten 7-0-3 season, Medfield girls soccer had six of its members named all-conference. Ally Dubbs, Marissa Gorog, Izzy Brown and Morgan Reilly were all named TVL All-Stars. Sarah Churchill and Isabella Gangemi were named TVL Honorable Mention.

The boys varsity soccer team also went undefeated (10-0-0) and had six of its members honored with postseason awards. James Layden was named TVL MVP, TVL All-Star, Eastern Mass All-Star, and was a selection to the All-State team. Brendan Harding and Jake Kraemer were both named TVL All-Stars. Colin Quint and Chris Hoffman earned TVL Honorable Mention and Jason Helm was named TVL Coach of the Year.

Varsity field hockey had three of its member honored with postseason awards. Molly Hardiman was named a TVL All-Star while Bitsey Crowley and Taylor Guindon were named TVL Honorable Mention.

Following a 6-4 season, Medfield varsity golf had three of its members honored. Henry Reilly and James Davignon were named TVL All-Stars, with Max Sherman earning TVL Honorable Mention.

Nine members of Medfield High cross-country were honored. Colin Benson and Andrew Barrette were named TVL All-Stars. Ryan Costello was named TVL Honorable Mention. Diane Lyon was named TVL girls cross-country Coach of the Year after the team finished the season unbeaten (5-0). Emma Bannister, Molly Donovan, Emily Morgan, Erin Infantino and Isabel Vara were all named TVL All-Stars.
