In a notice released on Monday, June 29, Town Manager Kate Fitzpatrick announced the beginning of the Needham Unite Against Racism Initiative. This project is dedicated to addressing the racism in Needham, and to hopefully find solutions to improve the community.
On Tuesday, July 21, residents of Needham are invited to speak about any thought, concerns, and experiences they have regarding racism. The discussion, hosted by the Select Board, will begin at 6:15 on Zoom. Residents who wish to talk during this discussion or would like to submit comments or questions by emailing OTM@needhamma.gov. Those who wish to speak will have two to three minutes to discuss their ideas or concerns.
