The Walpole Footlighters are getting their spring musical comedy “You’re a Good Man, Charlie Brown” ready for production at the Footlighters Playhouse, 2 Scout Rd., Walpole. The show will be performed May 6 – 22.

A delightful musical based on the beloved comic strip “Peanuts” by Charles Schulz, “You’re a Good Man, Charlie Brown” follows the small but significant moments that make up the days of Charlie Brown and his friends Lucy, Schroeder and Linus, his sister Sally, and his incomparable dog Snoopy.

Be it first love, who’s your valentine, the big baseball game, flying a kite, we watch as a small group of children, portrayed by adult actors, cope with the challenges and joys of childhood, where true friendship first blossoms.

This revised version of the show includes all the original songs and two new songs that are sure to leave you smiling.

A cast of experienced actors from the greater Boston area make this musical comedy a delightful evening at the theatre. Performances will be held on May 6, 7, 13, 14, 20, 21 at 8 p.m. and May 15 and 22 at 2 p.m.
