The Walpole Coalition for Alcohol and Drug Awareness has announced the dates of its next two meetings.

The coalition will meet on February 8 at 10 a.m. at the Walpole High School Media Center, and will hold a repeated meeting at 7 p.m. at the Walpole Town Hall Main Meeting Room for those not able to attend the first meeting.

The two meetings will feature representatives from Caron.org. They will host a talk called “How to start the conversation about alcohol and drugs with your child.”

The talk will cover many areas of raising awareness of drug and alcohol issues with children, including when children are old enough to talk about drug and alcohol issues and what to say to children about the issues.

As always, the meeting will also cover a broad array of drug and alcohol issues and what is happening locally in Walpole. Community members will learn what the community needs to be made aware of.

For any questions about the talks, contact the Walpole Health Department at 508-660-7321.
