It was an extremely strong spring athletic season for Walpole High School. Both the boys and girls varsity lacrosse teams, the varsity baseball team, as well as the varsity softball team all won at least one postseason game.

Recently, the Bay State Conference announced several of its conference all-star sets and to no surprise, many of the names present on this prestigious list are Walpole High athletes.

Sophomore catcher Corey Kilroy and junior Stonehill College-committed second baseman Max Martin were named First-Team Bay State Conference All-Stars for their efforts throughout the 2021 season. Kilroy and Martin helped Walpole High baseball to a 10-6 record season record and the No. 10 seed in Division I South. Walpole defeated No. 23 Brockton 9-0 in the preliminary round before losing 6-4 against No. 7 Taunton in eight innings in the first round.

In softball, senior outfielder Catie Powderly and third baseman Jordan Larkin were named Bay State Conference All-Stars, while catcher Ariana Kreuzer was named Bay State Conference Honorable Mention. Powderly, Larkin and Kreuzer helped Walpole to an 11-4 regular season record and the No. 9 seed in Division I South. Walpole defeated No. 24 New Bedford 4-3 in the preliminary round, followed by a 12-0 victory over Quincy in the first round. Walpole fell to eventual sectional champ and No. 1 Taunton by a final of 7-0 in the sectional quarterfinals.

Walpole boys lacrosse had three members recognized. Senior UMass-Lowell committed face-off man Ben Quinn and junior attack-man Ronan Fahey were named Bay State Conference All-Stars. Senior goalie Kyle MacLeod was named Bay State Conference Honorable Mention. Walpole boys lacrosse finished the regular season at 6-6 to earn the No. 7 seed in Division II Central/East. The Timberwolves defeated No. 10 Arlington 19-1 in the first round followed by a 12-9 upset win at No. 2 Foxboro in the quarterfinals. Walpole fell to eventual sectional and state champ Concord-Carlisle 15-5 in the sectional semifinals.

In girls lacrosse, Bria Foley, Natalie Griffen, Carolina Whelan, Maggie Mahoney and Brigid Welch were all named First-Team Bay State Conference All-Stars. Despite a 10-4 defeat to Wellesley in the championship game of the inaugural Bay State Conference Tournament, Walpole still earned the No. 4 seed in Division I East. Walpole defeated No. 13 Natick in the opening round but fell to No. 5 Lincoln-Sudbury 10-9 in the quarterfinals.
