The Walpole 6th grade girls basketball team went 5-0 over St. Patrick’s Day weekend to claim the 2018 Massachusetts State Middle School Championship. Walpole beat Millis and Dighton-Rehoboth in pool play on Saturday, March 17, to advance to Sunday’s winner’s bracket. Walpole then beat Franklin, Tyngsboro, and King Philip to win the State title.
