Fried, DS XC place No. 12 in states

The Dover-Sherborn Regional High School boys cross country team placed 12th overall at the MIAA Division II State Championships on Saturday with a total score of 294 and a total time of 1:29:02.67.

Oliver Fried led the way for DS as the team’s top finisher, placing 30th out 178 runners with a time of 16:59.86.

 DS’s Oliver Fired (561), who placed No. 30 overall at Saturday’s Division II State Championships, is all smiles along with teammates Lucas Barnes (557) and Oren Wiemeyer (566).

Lucas Barnes (17:58.37) placed at No. 94 for DS, with Jacob Brown (17:59.38) just behind him at No. 97. Just after Barnes and Brown crossed the finish line, Scott Sirri (18:02.25) and Oren Wiemeyer (18:02.81) finished back-to-back for DS at No.’s 101 and 102, respectively.

Noah Guarini (18:08.61) placed at No. 108 followed by Will Brown (18:26.12) at No. 127.
