Needham Historical Society Board President Alison Borrelli gets in on the action at a 'hub site' on the History Walk.

History buffs can stop at any of the six hubs along the route for in-depth information about any of the 58 sites. Guides stationed at the hubs will share stories and answer questions. All along the route, signs will highlight landmarks and explain their significance.

Needham’s Walk Through History is organized by the Needham Historical Society in cooperation with Needham Park and Recreation and event sponsors Needham Bank and Briarwood Rehabilitation and Healthcare.

Interested parties may pick up a map at the Historical Society’s table at the Harvest Fair on Saturday, October 7, at the Needham Historical Society itself (1147 Central Ave, in front of Newman School), or at www.needhamhistory.org/historywalk.
