It was another great Thursday night with music at the Gazebo as Memo’s Summer Concert series continued. Last week, Route 109 - Medfield’s “not-your-average” cover band - wowed the crowded lawn of guests with their creative mix of hits from the 80s to the 10s. They played a mix of indie ballads, Euro-pop fever and classic songs that left everyone in the crowd in a great mood on a perfect summer evening.

The music appealed to both the picnicking adults and the adorable, energetic children, who were invited up to participate in the songs by shaking maracas and dancing along to the music.

Two very special guests were also invited up to sing - two of Route 109 lead singer Larry Kramer’s daughters, Kyra and Sonia Kramer, who delighted the audience with their beautiful voices and charming personalities.

The 2016 MEMO Concert Series kicked off this summer on Thursday, June 16 with the Medfield High School Jazz Band, and will continue to run through Thursday, August 18, with the Keith Curbow Studio Funk Collection. The shows take place every Thursday from 6-8 p.m. at the Gazebo behind the library. In the event of rain, the Medfield Library will host a family movie starting at 6:15 p.m. Go to MEMO’s website at www.medfieldmemo.org for weekly information.
