Celebrating their 25th year of teaching students of all ages, Personal Best Karate promoted 60 students to the ranks of First, Second, Third and Fifth degree Black Belt in this past month. Over 800 people packed the Oliver Ames High School auditorium in Easton for an evening of choreographed martial arts performances. All of the candidates took turns displaying the skills they have polished over the past four plus years of training. There were also two special performance guests, World Champions Tyler Weaver and Jake Presley, who most recently starred in the movie “The Accountant” with Ben Affleck.

As part of its ongoing community campaign, each graduating class selects one community service project. This class participated in the 2016 Turkey Brigade organized by Personal Best Charity. The Turkey Brigade, now in its 21st year, organizes and delivers Thanksgiving dinners to 3,200 needy families in the area each year, approximately 12,800 people.
