Two Dover-Sherborn High students recently had the opportunity to perform on stage at Symphony Hall.

Senior clarinetist Jeffrey Kennan performed with the All-State Orchestra and junior vocalist Annabel Hodson-Walker sang with the All-State Chorus.

The students were chosen through competitive auditions that were held at Shrewsbury High. The All-State Orchestra and Chorus consists of Massachusetts' top student musicians who assembled in Boston for two days of intensive rehearsals culminating in the All-State Concert held at Symphony Hall on Saturday, March 12.

“After seeing the Boston Pops perform at Symphony Hall for many years, it was an absolute thrill to walk on the same stage and perform in front of a full audience,” said Hodson-Walker.

“It was an amazing experience playing in an orchestra with talented students from across Massachusetts coupled with the exceptional acoustics in Symphony Hall,” said Kennan
